Light Morphology is a series of digital paintings which visualizes the concept of "living light ecology". It's a concept originating in my deep belief that light is alive and is a living being.

Morphology is a term in biology that studies the physical charateristics of organisms including their shape, size and arrangement of parts. To me, the series of digital paintings are part of the larger worldbuilding of living light ecology, combining fantasy, video game aesthetics, digital light rendering engines and light as a speculative being. Each composition explores the organism, movement and livelihood of light.
